   I should note though that instantly fediblocking them would most likely create more problems than it solves. I agree with @Jain that we should be working with instance admins (and not against them) and defederation should only be used as a last resort.

     @hexaheximal @mia while i preserve my/our values for blob.cat, i totally agree that blocking .art is in comparisation to other blocks more than justified

     @adiz you might not know blob.cat so here is the short version: the admins of blob.cat (im part of them) denys the authority on the server blocklist or basically doing the bare minimum on that. We of course, enforce the usual rules on the server itself, and prefer to talk about issues. Keep it comfy and give users the freedom to block users/instances as they will.
     So usually i end up talking with other admins about local/remote issues/blocks...

     @hexaheximal@mastodon.social mastodon.art should be blocked outright. There is no "working with" them. It's a futile effort wasting time trying to reason with unreasonable, sadistic, tiny people. @mia@void.rehab @Jain@blob.cat

     @Jain@blob.cat That's all fine and well, and I respect that approach to instance administration. I, myself, am also against block-lists out of principle. I've just had it tolerating consistent abuse from mastodon.art, their admins, and their extended associates.
