More fun Aztec facts: they were a nearly 0 waste society. There were public toilets all over Tenochtitlán where they collected excrement to use as fertilizer. Food scraps went right back into the fields or to feed animals.
Things that could be burned, like old rags or whatever, were used in Rie he’s that illuminated the city. All of this helped to keep the water of the lake clean for drinking and irrigation.

Idk, I think it’s really worth learning about. Their skill in building and engineering was incredible. They were all built by human beings. People look at Tenochtitlán and say “no way they built that on their own”
