     i'd choose B, because

     1. a flat back (which you hit on with a bat) is good for splitting / batoning wood.

     2. you can get really close to the blade with your fingers. let's you apply a good amount of force to the wood to create -for example- feather sticks.

     @mk @SkatyG I'd pick the Becker BK18 of the three, 1095 steel, good edge and of a useful size. I have better knives for truck duty though.
