   Not amazing Direct, but had some surprises
   
   Nintendo is going hardcore with the remake and smaller games, as I said already, remakes are quicker done than an original game. I think these are going to be the Switch 1 last few games and the Switch 2 announcement is really imminent
   
   Otherwise they're doing very good with the ports and remake. Thousand Year Door was something people wanted for ages, and there it is. Also Another Code/Trace Memory collection was completely unexpected and it looks gorgeous
   
   Metroid Prime 4 is probably gonna get bumped to Switch 2

     @grey I don't believe they said it was limited? But anyways, they might be releasing this to gauge interest or as an advert for a future F-Zero, but, yeah, don't hope too much

     That was not the F-Zero I wanted, but I'll try it out I guess. The problem is that they only leave these up for a limited time, like the Pac-Man one is going away despite being really fun.

     the series has been dormant for 2 decades now, GX on the gamecube was 2003. i don't think it's possible to be deader than it is currently. Nintendo is content to pour all of their racing game ideas into Mario Kart.
     
     edit: come to think of it, this probably is something like a 20th anniversary bit, and they are just going to go back to ignoring it except when they need track ideas for mario kart.

     hey, they went back and remade tracks from the Wii though five years after the Switch re-release, that's not nothing....
     
     F-Zero could even be a money maker if they turned it into a F2P racing game like the Asphalt series, but I suppose even that's asking too much

     that is literally nothing. i don't think "let's bring something from the past" is considered an idea, yet alone "new" one even within nintendo.
     
     oh, i know what ideas the put into mario kart, mercedes benz dlc or whatever the fuck that was

     @Owl @grey @hj @coolboymew Dark Souls is just the same difficulty as the games From was making back on the PS1. They didn't get harder, everything else got easier.
