I'm planning on becoming a content creator soon, except i dont have the money for a proper setup lmao, my GPU is so old it doesn't get read by obs which means I can't record pc footage or export videos unless I fry my CPU everytime

@kaia I am aware of that, its just that the only thing I wanna upgrade is my camera (phone), microphone and laptop
I was thinking that a steam deck would be a good choice, but then I realized I would spend all of my life savings on a new galaxy a14 next week anyways

@kaia @Relected my understanding is making a profitable youtube channel for example is not the issue.
making a profitable youtube channel in a short time frame (less than a year for example) while staying sane is.
if u do good content, with a clear target demographic, and 2-3 videos per week most youtuber seem to be able to reproduce their success without taking over from their former channel.
though time is crucial. one needs to be obsessed with it. for years
