   a problem with electric vehicles
   
   if a gas powered car runs out of gas someone can bring you a tank of it and you can get going
   
   if an electric powered car runs out of electricity, you basically just gotta tow it to a charger

     unfortunately every single small electric vehicle uses a god awful proprietary connector because there is no standard
