Annika Backstrom (annika@xoxo.zone)'s status on Wednesday, 13-Sep-2023 00:38:56 JST Annika Backstrom @darius this frustrates me with a lot of tech signups. there's a free tier and a $100/month tier, nothing in the middle for a hobbyist. there are some services i'd pay $10/month with no support, if only it was offered. so we both get nothing

Annika Backstrom (annika@xoxo.zone)'s status on Wednesday, 13-Sep-2023 01:23:47 JST Annika Backstrom @danschnau I can't name a ton off the top of my head, I don't retain a lot of brain space for services I was priced out of.
As one example, Datadog is $15/month *per host*. That adds up quickly if you have 2-3 hosts and a few of these services going.

Dan Schnau (danschnau@toot.cafe)'s status on Wednesday, 13-Sep-2023 01:23:48 JST Dan Schnau @annika @darius i usually see "hobbyist" pricing on things e.g. LinqPad. What do you see that doesn't have hobbyist pricing?
