   I can't believe that otherwise Very Left Wing people get INCREDIBLY emotionally invested in DEFENDING the government's version of the events of 9/11 and REFUSE TO BELIEVE that elements in the Bush administration might have been nefarious enough to have had at least a small hand in what happened.

   How does someone go from being an anti-capitalist, antifascist, anti-imperialist, and an anarchist who believes the state is the most dangerous force in the world to a statist bootlicker in one fell swoop over this one topic?

   It boggles the mind.

   I think it is because lunatic right-wingers latched onto the "truther" conspiracy theory as well, which makes no sense because 9/11 only benefitted right-wing neocon fascists.

   My belief that our government MAY HAVE BEEN complicit in the events of 9/11 simply asks that we not take their version of events at face value. That's it.

     @CosmicTrigger my two cents is that regardless of if the government "let it happen" or not. they still abused the ever living shit out of it to "increase security" by taking away many of our "rights" that we took for granted. Not to mention starting two wars with countries not even involved with 9/11. I was born in july of 2002, i was born in a post 9/11 society. I do however see it like this. Even if 9/11 didnt haopen there was bound to be some sort of major terrorist attack that amerikkka would abuse to get the things they did to happen.

     I posted about that 9/11 as well yesterday with a cartoon criticizing the USA's tactic of overthrowing democratically elected socialist states with military force

     A poster: sky blue background, giant white letters spell ALLENDE with the 2 L's nearly as tall as the poster the other letters one third that tall.      I was 31 when it happened. I saw everything leading up to it.

     Like how George Bush actually DID steal the election with the help of Katharine Harris and his brother in Florida and the supreme court stopping the recount.

     I knew about all the things the old guard from Nixon and Daddy Bush's presidency had left unaccomplished because of checks and balances, and that they were still having wet dreams about.

     EVERY SINGLE THING the neocons had been trying to accomplish since Nixon and Daddy Bush, they accomplished because 9/11 allowed them to accomplish it.

     If they WEREN'T complicit in the events of 9/11, then 9/11 was literally the biggest stroke of good luck in the entire history of conservative politics, ever.

     @CosmicTrigger sometimes those "strokes of good luck" happened in history. But like it honestly makes more sense that that they atleast knew *something* was gonna happen
