@pho4cexa oh yeah, I've been so much happier since I switched to pairing over tmate; crisp text, and way less lag
bonus: each person gets to pick their favorite font for themselves

google, another job well done!
for the past several work days i haven't been able to read the text on my pair-programming partner's screen-share that we do daily in google meet. looks like we've both been capped at 720p, while our desktops are 1080p. so it's just a blurry mess
this is great! i'm super excited about it. thank you google!
because it means i get to do a trial run of alternatives including self-hosted jitsi and possibly never have to touch google fucking meet ever fucking again
i will Gotta Hand It To google exactly one thing: by enshittifying their products so thoroughly, they made it easy to say "why not block them in my robots.txt? the search results are shit anyway!" and similar arguments
that's so convenient! thanks google!
imagine if they spent just $1B of their $290B annual revenue on end user quality, making stuff that i really want to use, that i feel like ehhh i hate that they violate my privacy but it's kinda worth the price? wow that would be stressful!
