Does that actually work? Could I really use this on my apple and pear trees?

@bifpowell @HiroProtagonist @Dan_Ramos does the fruit even need light?
@Dan_Ramos I don't think it would work in a hot, humid climate at all. I use organza bags to protect fruit from birds. Even though they are breathable, they can promote mold on my figs if left on during heavy rain. Plastic would be a disaster.
This is kind of how they get fruit in the bottle, they put the bottle over it when its small, and then it still gets light and grow inside the bottle.
This article is bullshit and merely a native ad for ziploc and so is not real advice or even accurate at all.
@ned @HiroProtagonist @Dan_Ramos yes
Not for photosynthesis
