     @HistoPol @GottaLaff (butting in) it definitely was, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was significantly worse than the prosecution has presented

     I think more pragmatic. That we’re unlikely to find out everything he did (that isn’t classified) but that what has been found out is enough to deal with him. Like Al Capone and tax evasion.

     LOL, you seem to have been reading my posts (I have been saying this back on the DeadBirdSite for more than a year).

     I don't disagree.

     The problem is, that he can still run from prison. There is enough precedence.

     Also, given the imensity of his crimes, and of his alleged high treason, I am for the classic #Roman #TarpeianRock punishment for these traitors, not a prison sentence.

     There are too many MAGATs in this country for it to be safe if he wins or he doesn't.

     I think it becomes clearer by the weak that a lot what is happening now could have been prevented if #Nixon and his #VEEP had been punished to the fullest extent of the law.

     The same is true about the #Nazi conspiracy in the US in the 1940s (Maddox: #ultra

     No denazification, no or completely insufficient consequences. The rot is still there, more powerful even.

     The #AugeanStables of US politics must finally be cleaned up.
     Hard choices are to be made.
