   TIL that BestBuy's category for TVs without privacy-invading "smarts" is named "Commercial TVs". These look like reasonably good TV panels without the crapware they're pushing on all consumer models.

     Sony's TVs are not very evil in my experience. They're pretty dumb unless you opt in and then it will install the full Google TV
     
     Plus their OLEDs are king

     @feld Samsung seems to have a variety of commercial panels like this one. Maybe there's an OLED option but I haven't found it.

     @feld Sadly, the higher end panels with the new new tend to come with software for coordinating advertising.
