the funny thing is I would gladly click ads to give people money in exchange for their website, if they were unobtrusive and didn't have a 70% chance of just outright being malicious and a 10% chance of outright being an exploit

right now if you get clickthrough ad revenue it's from people who don't know not to click the ads.

and idk why we put up with yet another industry that exploits older people and those who don't have the education/knowledge/experience to vet them
