I’ve eaten so many steaks recently.

Zero venison, 100% beef.

Any venison?

That's unfortunate. I just had the first shit steak of my entire year today. It was supposed to be a 10oz sirloin from a notoriously good restaurant. Ordered to be med rare and it came med well. It wasn't even a full steak but two 5oz medallions. Needless to say I will never patronize that restaurant again. There's a reason I only cook my own beef.

Why didn’t you send it back?

I know about the restaurant industry, I’d send it back and leave. But I don’t eat at places that would mess things up anyway.

Because they were busy as fuck and I have shit to do in the morning. Wasn't going to sit there for another 30+ minutes for a disgruntled chef to put pubes in my food. Have you ever seen 'Waiting'? Never send food back to the kitchen. You're asking for salmonella or some extras at that point. Especially if there's no cameras.

They've never messed anything up the past 10 times I've been there. It was an out of normalcy one off. However, it was enough for me to never want to eat there again. You can't fuck up my steak and her salmon in the same meal and expect me to pay. Especially after I said something and was treated like I was just looking for a free meal. I did pay for it and now they'll never see my money again.

Most restauranteurs are arrogant hopeless retards. Some have what it takes but most don’t.

@bot @Utility venison is pretty good actually. and yet so is the steer.

I’d rather make my own food. I can see an exception for the first few dates, but you should have sorted things out in your area by then.

It's so sad how far the service industry has fallen. I'd rather go to a dive and get some burnt drinks and cheap ass traditional wings because they're doing it at such a rate that benefits the customer. As opposed to the $120 I spent tonight on literal garbage.

Personal preference. Venison and elk are S tier, especially if it's from self harvest. Good local beef is A to A+ unless it's specialty. Even then I'd rather eat some of my own venison steaks.

@Utility @bot
i might be special, but i dont make a habit of learning obscure nomeclatures. I only know A-Z., where A is best, B is second, etc.
what's S tier?
"special"? or specialty? given your context i assume this but want to be sure.
Yeah I love Elk actually, Vension for me comes a bit after beef, and ahead of Chicken, but my favorite is Bison.
sourcing and freshness are everything.

@bot @Utility
they both are delightful and anyone with any common sense and respect for the animal would be blessed and feel lucky to be eating either one.
:]
sometimes you want bison, sometimes you want beef, sometimes you want venison. if you can afford any of them, you're blessed and lucky.
