     Presumably that people commission artists more.
     Though people using AI art probably weren't ordering a ton of commissions in the first place.

     I wonder if people will return to selling paper-only copies of art, manga, and cut down on digital sales, similar to the resurgence of vinyl following music piracy.

     @JAJAX@clubcyberia.co @Moon@shitposter.club I can understand the fear and anger around AI replacing artists but I think ppl have the weirdest hate boner over AI used in any capacity.
     
     It's a tool that can help you improve in the right circumstance. I saw a bunch of VAs and twitter ppl get mad at an animator for using AI voices in a Scooby Doo parody but it was just to eliminate costs and it wasnt even for profit.

     @Moon the point of being an artist, at least IMO, is to seek out things that don't exist yet. To make connections that have never been made before.
     
     AI art can only give you a remix of things it's seen before. So it frees up artists from having to draw every permutation of the formulaic things that already exist and instead seek out something different.
