   i typically consider myself a centrist or moderate.

   but i've come to the conclusion that if there was ever a world war between the left and the right, and i was forced to pick a side, i would pick the left.

   my survival at the moment depends 100% on the socialist policies of the Nordic model, and it was the social-democrats who introduced those.

   i used to lean more right when i worked as a software developer and i tried to run a business.

   i thought the playing field was even.

   not even close.

   the truth is that it's mostly dumb luck. you can have the best business idea in the world and still fail, if the circumstances are wrong. and you can't control circumstances. therefore, capitalism is unfair.

   they call lotteries an idiot tax.

   capitalism is a lottery, and you're the suckers working for the rich people who already won the lottery, hoping to win the prize, but you probably won't.

   so, yeah, i lean a little left these days, for very understandable reasons.

     @tinosoft well, i'm not really seeing much criticism here toward the Nordic system

     more resentment toward the Mexican system failing to reach those goals

     In reality, you’re loving the State Welfare policies.

     Mexican Politicians have the same path of your “socialism” but for the wrong reasons: Mob cartels in Mexico are giving to my country the economic support to not being affected by inflation, but restricting market freedom to the people who obey the law.
