      i'm not even remotely kidding about this by the way. the entire job search and hiring system is one elaborate hazing ritual designed to weed out marginalized people, especially autistics and others with so-called abnormal communication styles, and we need to just throw the whole thing out and start from scratch.

      @flowers Some jobs need to weed out "abnormal communication styles", but you're right that a lot of jobs it shouldn't matter. If you're a good worker and not customer facing, it shouldn't matter if you're awkward.
