   Unfortunately, the need to defend my existence "as a good person" is not purely about my ego; it's about my right to exist, or at least it is all too often, about my right to exist.

   My name, is my name. And when they come to take it from me, they'd best expect me to fight.

     No hard feelings at all friends, but just know it's very different when every day the world has an open debate on the validity of your existence, and your right to simply be.

     To some degree, the power to not care, is a privilege too. And it's one I heartily encourage you to enjoy as often as possible.

     But it's different for trans women; we can't just "let people think what they want" about us the same way. Folks are always looking to weaponize every fault against us; even fake ones.
