So far, after a confusing 🤯 start [big learning curve for me; very different to #Mastodon & #Firefish] i am really enjoying #Friendica, so i'm glad you also like it.

Oh! I had kinda sorta wondered about / suspected this, but it's a bit grim now to see it confirmed. Oh dear... 🤔

Oh i do agree, & had not intended to infer otherwise. I gave that link simply to illustrate that so far it is my only source of awareness of any specific Friendica #Instance. Had it not been for me finding that site, my recent migration to Friendica would have been impossible, coz i would not have known of any Instances to try. Even so, that site is incomplete. Some days ago, in various posts i saw in my timeline, two separate peeps mentioned they use two separate Friendica Instances [both of which now sadly escape my useless memory]. I was interested to learn more about them, so i tried looking for them at that url, but neither is included there. So, i had no way of knowing what kind of places they are [eg, tech, furry, lgbtqi, nazi... they could be anything!], nor how many members etc. I am unwilling to create an account before i can find out some of that by first-hand experience; i'd prefer to be able to read up on them first. In this regard the very many Mastodon Instances i have investigated & used are miles ahead, coz their "About" page usually gives a decent overview for noobs. I just wish i could find similar info for Friendica Instances.
