     @georgetakei I broke down crying as the text got smaller. Almost nothing I see online can evoke that. This is not normal. This is not right... Powerful? Direct. Show's what is real. Makes the battle personal. But maintain your calm, do your best in life, and don't succumb to fear.
     A man with a gun can kill you and that's terrible beyond a doubt, but he can't take your character. We cannot let this continue, and the first step is admitting that we have a problem.

     @georgetakei I’m pretty sure that when Jefferson said that “tree of democracy watered with the blood of patriots” quote he was 1) Off his nut about the French Revolution and 2) Didn’t mean we use the blood of the innocent as a literal sacrifice you gun-humping idiots.

     @georgetakei Powerful, indeed. And yes, we don't have to live like this. To think the US is somehow the leader of the free world genuinely requires Olympic-grade mental gymnastics.

     Thanks to a powerful gun lobby and cowardly and corrupt politicians this country has devolved into the world's largest trailer park. It's disgusting and nauseating.
