@hj my tv actually has a regular vga plug but retrotinc will definitely make it look better

@Moon mine doesn't, only scart, component+composite and naturally RF. Had to test it with my side monitor that does have vga input
also set up my rpi3 for composite output too.

@hj I only just found out that retrotinc can do 31khz it just needs combined sync so I had to buy an adapter from the UK that takes VGA, combines sync and exposes it as SCART.

@Moon @hj I thought that one of the major selling points of retrotinc was that it supported vsync/scart

@AWIVR @hj Yes but SCART doesn't necessarily imply that it can accept 31Khz horizontal sync, usually these things only support 15khz so finding out it can support 31 if you combine sync is a great discovery for me. I just found out the VGA to HDMI adapter I bought on Amazon doesn't work so being able to use retrotink (I kept calling it retrotinc why haha) is great

@AWIVR @hj oh I forgot to mention: VGA has separated horizontal and vertical sync signals. SCART has one line for both. So I had to buy a box that takes the VGA two syncs and combines them so retrotink can use VGA.
