     I'm mad my '03 was trashed by a mad mechanic, but my '05 is almost as good and I will drive it till the wheels fall off.
     If the car has a touch screen or a home button, I don't want it.
     If it can crash without a collision, it's a computer, not a car.

     @TheConversationUS I don't want a car with damn "software". I want a car that works when I buy it, and keeps working that way

     I'm going to hang onto the car I have for as long as I can. It has some very limited firmware in the computer that controls the engine and ignition. That software worked when they manufactured the car, and it still works. The result is a reliable car.

     Unlike, say, my so-called phone.

     Yes, my phone does real cool stuff, but it is not reliable.
