WEI is up a proprietary level, where the goal it to make it so to even connect to the web site, the computer must confirm that all software making up the OS is proprietary and unmodified and in any cases of free software replacement, the computer must rat out the user to the proprietary overlords. -

I also linked to several other articles on it, including the one on defectivebydesign.org.
