Japan will issue visas for digital working persons, independents, or self-employees.
There are similar visas in European and South American countries in this news, but I've not heard it.
Would you happen to know those?

@taiyo Yeah that's a real thing. I know some countries having this kind of visa, such as Estonia, Iceland, and Costa Rica. Some of them are called "freelance visa", but they're basically the same thing.
To apply for those visa, you usually have to prove you have a lot of money to support yourself, or to prove you have high monthly income from your clients.
by high I mean something like USD $2000+ per month...
@hojinkoh Thank you! Certainly, those countries would offer such visas.
The nuance of that news made me as if France, Germany, or Brazil issuing those types of freelance visas.

@adachika192 ありがとうございます!
かなり多くの国でデジタルノマドビザが発行されていたんですね。
@hojinkoh thank you. another person told me a good link about freelance visa. Germany do has.
@taiyo Germany do have a freelance visa. It sounds to me that it's fairly tricky to get and has a high bar of entry however...
:blobcatthinkingsmirk2:
