   I read the first chapter of a newer #manga series, Shojo Null, and it was a wild first chapter. Basic premise of the world setting - it is set in the future where human-body based robots callee "gijin" serve humans in everyday tasks.

   However, despite being told they have no sentience and are merely mindless tools, they do. And tech blocks them from that.

   The story follows a kid with a deceased scientist Dad, and a newly freed gijin who had that part damaged so they gained their freedom / sentience.

   It gets violent.

   A well done intro that makes you think about what defines a human. Let's see where it goes.

     Read chapter 2 of #ShojoNull and my goodness did it go in hard. Not just on what it means to be a human with gijins, but also with its social commentary about the police.

     Just...wow.

     And next chapter is going to be bananas.

     I am certain of it.

     Holy crap does Shojo Null go in hard with how it represents the cops.

     I am on chapter 4, and my goodness, it is not letting up on its representation of such a broken society.
