     I sincerely think that is trait of the :fediverse:, getting to know amazing people.
     Usually one just get to read great people on books, magazines or newspapers, here we get to interact and know each other.
     You see people like dansup or yourself being awesome and sharing your successes and misfortunes.

     @MariaLiv Thanks, Maria. I was just calling out the bullshit of having a representative of an authoritarian regime being presented as representing a marginalised group. In the end, he ended up denying the Armenian genocide, at which point the organisers finally saw fit to evict him (and express their shock, even though I’d warned them earlier that he would do just that before the event and had my concerns poo-pooed). Anyway, yeah, so that was fun and I can no longer visit the land I was born in.
