I sat with my back to the fire.

Suddenly, out of the foggy void, stared at me two red eyes.

- "I thought You'd never come."
- "Can I come near?"
- "Sure."
I made room at the fire. The wolf snuggled next to me. He was bald with gray patches, and limped slightly.

"This is the last time you'll see me," he sighed. "Can you...?"

I did my magic. He transformed into an old man.

The Wacky Wolf has been with me since childhood.

The moon rose. He vanished. I sobbed.
