Wray, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), Nicole M. Argentieri, the Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, Matthew G. Olsen, the Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, James Smith, the Assistant Director in Charge of the New York Field Office of the FBI, and Bryant Jackson, the Special Agent in Charge of the Cincinnati Field Office of the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation (“IRS-CI”), announced today the unsealing of an Indictment charging ROMAN STORM and ROMAN SEMENOV with conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to commit sanctions violations, and conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business.
