My biggest complaint with Discord is that it is impossible to communicate with a support team on it due to the insane restrictions they have on every channel because of bot spam

> go to Discord for support
> try to paste your problem
> message gets auto deleted because you put a URL in it, or have a word like "hello", etc
one of the admins is like "Can you open an issue on our github?"
there are many issues already open about this problem, BUT I LITERALLY CANT EVEN LINK THEM because the bot won't let me

this is a whole new type of customer support nightmare. It's worse than being stuck on hold for hours because it appears you are so close to reaching a human and communicating your problem
it's psychological torture

Well obviously you forgot to do the initiation rites.
First, disconnect from the Discord server and reconnect. Make sure you're not on a VPN or proxy or you'll get auto banned because they'er paying for a service that is Really Good^TM at keeping bots and scammers out.
Now once you've connected you have 30 seconds to go to the #welcome channel and read the stupidly long ToS and click I AGREE, but there's also a quiz. You have to answer the quiz bot and then click the animal emoji reaction that best matches your spirit animal. If you're pure of heart, you will be granted access to the community.
Once you're in the community, you can join the #support channel but you must idle there for 30 minutes first without saying anything or else you'll be put into SLOW MODE. Slow mode means the server thinks you're a retard and denies your ability to post any messages. (Why am I always put on slow mode? Mom?)
Next, do not put a greeting in your message or try to be uplifting, upbeat, or polite. This will be blocked because these are social engineering tactics used by scammers. Also do not post any URLs to anything that may help you describe your issue. Your message cannot be too long (how long? nobody knows!), and cannot have a blockquote useful for code snippets or retaining formatting. These are the tools of the evil incarnate and must be stopped at all costs.
You absolutely cannot post any images or videos of the problem. Any text you type should contain mostly nouns and present participles. Avoid conjugating verbs. The bots really don't like that. And adverbs? GET FUCKED is what the bot will say.
If you speak entirely in emojis, you can get past the censors, but you'll be reported for spam.
I hope this has been a useful guide on how to work with a support representative for an open source community on the Discord network.

Don't forget the authentic support reps always have something like (will never DM you first) in their usernames. But if you try to DM them first, they'll never answer.
