   That Lobsters post about Ares is absolutely awful. Based on knowing nothing of the project whatsoever the response is an immediate dismissal and an expression of "disappointment" at the fact that such a project even has the audacity to exist in a language other than Rust and/or is written by the big bad witch himself.

   How can someone even write comments like these?

     I am really hurt by the way the rumor mill in the tech ecosystem is willing to just grind my reputation into the dirt for a few upvotes based on hearsay. Jennifer's best friend James' girlfriend's brother said I eat children so I'll comment that anytime Hare is mentioned. Total bullshit.

     The other day someone asked me if I really said a bunch of made-up quotes in support of police brutality.

     I am a real person, you know?

     @drewdevault a lot of damage is done to human social interaction once people view the work of others as treats placed in front of them for consumption or rejection. the corpo world trains them to act in this way unfortunately.
