     @Polychrome@poly.cybre.city i've legit considered changing my legal name to the one i use online so that when i try to contribute to an open source project and get a stern email about how if i'm going to use a pseudonym i should at least using a realistic one and they won't accept my contribution as-is, i can dunk on them

     @Polychrome amen. I was told to choose a handle before I was given a 1200 baud modem.

     The world online was adversarial decades ago and it's even worse now.
