     @nixCraft Postgres is the new MS SQL Express for most vendors. Instead of shipping SQL Server they ship now Postgres. Veeam switched with v12 of Backup & Replication to Postgres. HPE did the same years ago with Postgres instead of IDB in Data Protector (now Micro Focus).

     @luna @pecet @nixCraft Or paraphrasing their website, SQLite does not compete with Postgres. It competes with fopen().

     @pecet @nixCraft Depends on the application, if its lore like a local application then definitely SQLite otherwise prob Postgres or some other server-based database.
