     @scorpiontongue possibly. I'm wary of the "the left has gone too far this time" narrative, but even good ideas can be misapplied or applied disingenuously, I believe that does happen. And maybe after the explosion of a lot of new, better ways of thinking, that push the boundaries for a lot of people, and that people can end up at for the wrong reasons in that headlong rush, it is necessary to take a pause and retrenchment, to base our new thinking and values on better foundations.

     @scorpiontongue I never want to be anything else but a safe person and a comfort to survivors of abuse, and a frightening creature to abusers. (And this applies generally to oppression and harm as well). I'm still working on the latter :)

It's been a long road just to learn how to tell mean people who aren't acting in good faith to fuck off sometimes on the internet lol
