Apparently, I can choose between PIC and APIC. I should be able to unmask one of the generic IRQs and set the PCI interrupt to the same number. I may or may not need to recompile the kernel, because Terry used some dodgy acknowledging on top of regular interrupt masking to handle IRQ7, which is a special interrupt for computer having a giggle.
