   I am now reading Trump's response to the government's proposed schedule.

   He asks that the court place the case on the 2026 trial calendar.

   Recall that the DOJ asked for a trial date of January 2, 2024.

   This is flat absurd. It might be fun to take apart the absurdities of it, but there is no way he is getting this.

   I hope that she just says "this isn't serious" and gives the DOJ its schedule.

   (That's not what I'm betting on. That's what I'm hoping for!)

     @Teri_Kanefield in a legal filing is the use of "President" legit? He's not. He's a citizen. The title an earned, time limited, privilege.
