   You know what Nazis used to do in my Twitter replies before I started mass blocking?

   They'd give my home address out to OTHER Nazis in my replies who had expressed an interest in murdering my family and me.

     To those hopeful that #BlueSky is the answer, Jack Dorsey in full agreement with Musk's plan to remove blocking is crucial to know.

     Jumping from one billionaire's playground to another is not the way – especially when the two billionaires are good chums.

     @gray@ryona.agency Even if it did, what would blocking do to stop any of that? In the anecdotal example, wouldn't it be worse or counter-productive if these Nazis were sharing his/her information secretly? Making it more difficult to be aware of and more difficult to be moderated against or reported? @thegreatape@thechimp.zone @gwensnyder@mstdn.party

     @adiz @gray@ryona.agency @thegreatape@thechimp.zone @gwensnyder@mstdn.party I've seen multiple occasions where someone was having an amiable discussion with a left-leaning person and said left-leaning person blocked them despite the argument being in good faith (they'll typically claim it was, in fact, in "bad faith" because apparently no one could believe or argue for X thing they disagree with in good faith).
     
     Leftists have normalized blocking people just because they disagree with them so I'd have to say it'd be utterly delightful if Musk followed through with this. Like they freely share "blocklists" and take pride in blocking people openly without any self-awareness of how pathetic and cowardly this makes them look. Removing the block feature obviously has issues when you're dealing with legitimate spam or legitimate bad faith arguing (trolling?), but you know what? I don't care, spiting those smug retards would make it totally worth it.

     Note that the OP here is following a particular left-jihadi thought pattern. They're probably not aware of it's implications, as people mimic people, but it is a radicalizing pattern nonetheless.
     
     1. Catastrophizing: "this will get people killed"
     2. Projecting intent: "it's what he wants"
     3. Criminalizing: "literally murder" (I don't see that in this thread, but it is common)
     4. Urgency & victimization: "We are being attacked every day"
     
     This thought process is how leftist agitators create an ideology wherein acts which are objectively terrorism are represented as self defense.
     
     When a leftist does a mass shooting, this discourse is the ideological foundation upon which it sets.
