   For a site dedicated to writers, Writing.Exchange has a very small character-count, half of what the other mastodon servers I'm on have.

   Think we could get the char-count doubled to 1000? Maybe with a little extra for CW space, like 1024?

     @raccoon unfortunately no, since we're using managed hosting we aren't able to change that.

     Would recommend a fediverse blogging platform like Plume for long-form content. WriteFreely is another one, which I develop.
