augmented jungle (instereo256@realworldsunny.name)'s status on Friday, 18-Aug-2023 00:08:06 JST augmented jungle @mikoto@akko.wtf @Jain@blob.cat @jeder@miau.jeder.pl also Aero effects required a DirectX 9 GPU and was graphically intensive for GPUs of the time, at least with my old Nvidia 7600GT having Aero enabled did hit in game FPS quite significantly, and that was a midrange dedicated GPU from 2005, i don't know how well it ran on PCs with only onboard Intel graphics
I'm not sure if P4 computers were still sold in 2007, there however were Pentium Ds which were two P4s glued together, and Celeron Ds (not two P4s glued together)
Vista also loaded much more system files than XP, the system folder was over 1GB
also afaik there were big driver issues with release/pre-SP1 Vista
