     I really wish I understood why bing and google rolled out generative ai as part of their offering, as a psychological study. How do the myriad of human parts that make up these company-machines work so hard to make something happen that is… so detrimental to their core business in the first place.

     Like is it at the end of the day “we all just wanted a promotion and not make too many waves and not think hard enough”?

     Is it sycophantic fog around decision makers?

     Why?
