Today I finally learned that before Van Halen was Van Halen, they were called "Mammoth."
Some of you might have heard the (excellent) band "Mammoth WVH" fronted by Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang...
Now the band name makes total sense. What a beautiful tribute to his dad.
