     @neilhimself I became an engineer because I wanted to be a wizard. The wizards always seemed to have much more interesting and fun lives than the princesses.

     @neilhimself Someone once wrote (I forget who) that books are the corpses of trees tattooed with symbols that cause the reader to hallucinate wildly.

     I'm also aware that by reading a book I am sometimes hearing the thoughts of someone no longer with us.

     Your dear departed friend Terry still talks to millions of us daily and I regularly re-read his body of work so I can escape from this messed up oblate spheroid to an even more messed up (but in hilariously different ways) flat disc in space!
