So apparently *all* phone services at my university employer are now done through MS teams; we don't have anything connected to phone lines anymore. I'm curious how widespread this practice is -- if you work at a university, do they still have telephone landlines?

but this strikes me as alarming wrt private enclosure of a public service 😞
