@Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @Humpleupagus Worse even. Gen x was just listening to and making the worst music of all time with lyrics like "fuck you I want do what you tell me" or like Eminem while being like 55 years old making songs of "I hate my step dad". All they do is complain about their dad working too much to be home to raise them but then had kids and abandoned their kids at their grandmother's house all summer to go to boomer Rock festivals paid for by a 22%Apr credit card.

@KiKi88 @Humpleupagus @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @TalmudTranslator I'm either the first millennial or last of the gen xers, depending on whose claiming when the cut off is. I get shit from all parties. Fuck 'em.

@Humpleupagus @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux Just not a fan of this weird retconning of Gen x people I see now. Some can be fine like all gens but it is like 95% fags who are just as greedy as boomers while combined with the fag lazy liberal activism of millennial fags and computer illiteracy/consumerism of zoomers

Other than a few outliers, Zoomers have zero computer literacy. They didn't have to use a command line. They didn't have to load programs into a c64, use basic interpreters, use dos, or change dip switches to avoid irq conflicts. 95% reeeee if a program doesn't just work.

@KiKi88 @Humpleupagus @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @TalmudTranslator I get that each gen makes its fuck ups that have enduring consequences but at a certain point it seems to foster a certain blindness that the current crop and the next and those following will somehow be free from those flaws or that their mistakes will be somehow more understandable or even forgivable by those that come after.
Often these same criticisms come from those same voices that bemoan a lack of unity amongst us.

It's funny how we got gens against gens
Men against woman blah blah blah all that shite
everyone wants their category to be holier than the next and don't look at their own faults
Everyone wants to blame some I suppose 😪

@KiKi88 @Frondeur @Humpleupagus @Grumblesock @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @TalmudTranslator @idea_enjoyer When you remember where you were on 9/11, do you remember it from your perspective (first person) or do you see yourself in your memory (third person)
I remember it both ways. I was sitting in grade 1!
