   I refuse to stream anything, music, movies, TV series, especially games.
   
   I always download to watch or play locally and I genuinely hate how everyone keeps shilling how great the cloud is and how streaming is the future.
   
   "Isn't it convenient to be able to watch or play whatever you want, anytime you want?" Ignoring that you need a constant internet connection.
   
   What happen if you are in a black spot where you have no internet?
   
   What about censorship or removal of content? This happens constantly, am I meant to just watch other things? Or accept censorship is necessary because we're living through the cultural revolution with western characteristics.
   
   What about retarded region lock where something I like isn't available in my region, is the expectation that I only like things available in my region?
   
   I really don't understand how these people enjoy corpo cock so much.

     Plus, storage is cheap. You can buy 8TB 5400 Seagate Barcudas for around $120. They're not the best drives, but they work fine for local NAS.

     Why not just rip YouTube? You can easily grab an entire channel in a few minutes to an hour, depending on the amount of content and your down stream speed, and without ads.

     I do grab anything Asha Logos uploads, but that's partially because I have a feeling that he'll get the axe one day and all of his content will be scrubbed from the net. I did the same with murdoch murdoch.

     I recently bought Sandisk Extreme 512gb MicroSD for my phone for $50. For some reason, the bottom fell out of the storage market in the last few months. 512gb Ultras are going for $36 now.
