     @chiasm @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon This is what I was thinking as well. If it's one of those "examplatory gays who are friendly with far right and highly educated", it's not enough for them to be queer to, e.g., get my vote.

     @clacke @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon @chiasm It reminded me a conversation we had with acquaintances this week. It was about Knut Hamsun, who was apparently a really great writer, but is pretty much ignored (or purposefully not remembered) in Norway because he was quite happy to side with Nazis. To a point that he wrote an extremely positive obituary for Adolf in 1945. :blobfoxfacepalm:

     But in short, I agree with you. Except that, then it's not clear enough in the question.
