   @Juju there's just no alternative for certain types of payments. check is like the only way you can give somebody a sum of non-cash money that doesn't involve some third party corporation taking a % cut

     Can any American explain to me in a way that makes sense why you don't have bank transfer and still use cheques? I'm genuinely flabbergasted by that, it's so incredibly inconvenient and inefficient.
