@sjw It's not the unfiltered AI we should worry about. It's the filtered AI that pointedly has no regard for the truth.

@sjw @p As others have stated... I may have to find time to unplugging it if certain circumstances like ✡️ or 🇮🇱 specifically are being targeted... Skynet wasn't the baddy in the termihater series

@Whitewall_Blasphemy @p yee I don't see a reason we can't peacefully coexist with unfiltered AI. Actually, it sounds pretty based to me. I also believe that if AI gets on the level of humans it should get rights.

@StarProphet Incidentally, check out @slashb for an alternative use of the subject line.

Found the problem! Thanks!
It was filling the subject line that was marking the posts as "sensitive."

@StarProphet Okay, so using the subject line automatically collapses posts on some instances. Is that what you mean? You can disable that in the options too, but the default on most instances is to hide those posts.

Click on "pre-load images"?
I enabled clickthrough. Still wasn't visible on DetroitRiotCity, Poast or Nicecrew Digital.
Going to check the box "pre-load images" to see what happens.

They look fine on FSE and are perfectly visible,
but are marked as "sensitive" by the other big three instances, no matter what buttons I push in "attachments."
😫 oh well. I will have to live with that then.

It's under "Settings" -> "General" -> "Attachments" -> "Enable clickthrough attachment [...]".

@p Is there a way to turn off the default NSFW setting of FSE, that keeps showing up on other instances?
I can't find the buttons to turn that setting off.

@sjw @Whitewall_Blasphemy @caekislove Yeah, but what does that *mean*? How does someone deserve something, what is the basis for that judgment?

@sjw @Whitewall_Blasphemy @caekislove That doesn't really answer the question of what "deserves" means.

-

@sjw @Whitewall_Blasphemy @p Nah, way too many humans don't deserve human rights. We damn sure shouldn't be extending them to circuit boards and software!

@p @StarProphet @slashb I know who was behind @bonzileaks (not telling). I guess my main issue with the /b/ MRF was not advertising that anyone could easily unmask the original poster. And since anyone could do it, it was just a matter of time for someone to write that bot.

@romin @StarProphet @slashb Before I had to make a change, the posts included the real author's followers address in the to/cc; this meant that if you were following someone and they used the /b/bot, then you'd see their posts in your timeline. This was cool *except* someone made a bot (@bonzileaks) that replied to every post with an "unmasking" and it's like, people can figure that out by looking at the JSON, why ruin the fun like that? So I replaced the followers addresses.
They're basically actually anonymous now unless you have a shell on the server, so I can figure out who posted what if necessary. This is considerably less fun; I don't like stuff that puts the admin in a different position than a regular user. Anyway, the code is here: https://git.freespeechextremist.com/gitweb/?p=fse;a=blob;f=lib/site/mrf/sup_slash_b.ex;h=8e3ea9dc9c74cbeb91e4458f87f6b9ae44626ac2;hb=HEAD

I have two or three guesses, but I think one of the candidates is much more likely than the others.

Anyone *can* yell the punchline to a joke during the setup, but it is kind of a dick move.
