     @cstross I'm in Texas and it's been topping out around 39-41°C most days for the past month or so.

     @cstross Visited family who live near Dundee in August some years ago. It got up to 21C during the day. In the evening they had all the doors and windows open because it was "so hot". I was sat there in my sweater, teeth chattering.

     Oh, to have temperatures go down to 23 °C. That only happens in Dec-Feb.
