     @Moon @lebronjames75 Tons of scientists thought that esp was real in the early and mid twentieth century. ESP even showed up a ton in hard science fiction of that period. Asimov's original Foundation trilogy is a prime example.

     @Moon @lebronjames75 somebody got a lot of money to investigate. circa 1970, episcopal churches (likely under the influence of Bishop Pike) were doing standardized rhine card esp testing. esalen was doing it too; leary, ram das wrote about it. scientology has this as a side hussle; and they document incidents in the pc case file.
