Fun fact, in #Xonotic, we the developers cannot even allow all these things if we wanted to, because we too are bound by the terms of the #GPL license we received some assets under. Thus, if you e.g. post video footage on YouTube, it is either fair use or illegal (unless you provide source material for the entire video which is, honestly, rather tricky) - we cannot blanket permit it (even though we would actually like to). Whether it is fair use is not up to us, but only to the law in your respective country.

We also never have sued anyone, though. And neither did any contributor as far as we know of.
